Hoylake Music Man

Back sometime in 1973 at number 13 in the record charts was, I believe, 'Amanda' sung by Stuart Gillies. The writer of both words and music, Brian Hall , a long time resident of Hoylake who is still writing and producing songs. Brian utilises an Atari ST to provide the computing power, possibly the first system to be adopted by the music makers. Back before the P.C. was a gleam in IBM's corporate eye.

'Amanda' dates back to 1973 but Brian is still active producing demo CD's and performing live at various venues around Wirral with various jazz outfits. A selection of tracks is available to download , these are mp3 format files of around 3 Mb, all date back to the 70's.
