Hoylake boasts one of the oldest 'on station' lifeboats around the U.K. coast
and has a thriving sailing club. The R.L.N.I. lifeboat station has recently been
moved 200 yards or so along the prom. A new much larger building has been
contructed, opened at end of 2009.
For those who would like to learn sailing the Hoylake Sailing School
offer a wide range of coarses.
