RACK SYSTEM

Input

The Monitoring System (MS) was to collect data from the other autonomous systems that control various functions within the domestic environment. Initially this meant the HMS and Central Heating.

The MS data input was to be in the form of a datagram from the House Management System (HMS). Input data to MS was :-

• interface to the Central Heating:- pump, valve & gas



• The outside temperature, monitored by a Maplin module.



• interface to the HMS

• a Maplin temperature module sensing inside temp



• the scanned intruder alarm switches
